Introduction

ARIOTAP is a digital business card platform that allows businesses to create and share their contact information online. This privacy policy explains how we handle your information and what data is made publicly accessible.

Our Digital Business Card Model

ARIOTAP operates on a public business card model, similar to physical business cards that businesses distribute to customers. When you create a profile on ARIOTAP, you are creating an online business card intended to be shared with your customers and the public.

Publicly Visible Information

When you enable your public profile, the following business contact information becomes accessible to anyone:

  • Business Information: Business name, description, and logo
  • Contact Information: Business phone, business email, and business address
  • Messaging Platforms: WhatsApp Business, Telegram, and other messaging links
  • Social Media: Links to your business social media profiles
  • Custom Links: Any custom links you choose to add

Important: This information is intentionally public and accessible by design, just like a physical business card.

Protected Personal Information

The following personal account information is NEVER made public:

  • Your account email address (used for login)
  • Your account phone number (used for login)
  • Your password and authentication credentials
  • Two-factor authentication settings
  • Account security information

Facebook Login & Social Authentication

When users log in via Facebook Login, we may access:

  • Email address
  • Public profile (name, profile picture, basic information)

These data are used solely for authentication and creating the business profile. They are not shared with third parties except as required by law.

Data Security and Protection

While your business contact information is intentionally public, we implement several security measures:

  • Rate limiting to prevent automated scraping and abuse
  • Secure database with row-level security policies
  • Separation of public business data from private account credentials
  • Regular security audits and monitoring

Requests from Public Authorities

We do not share personal account information with authorities except as required by law. We currently have no additional internal processes for handling such requests beyond compliance with applicable legal requirements.

Your Control and Consent

You have full control over your profile visibility. You can toggle your profile between public and private at any time. Before making your profile public, you must explicitly acknowledge that your business contact information will be accessible to anyone.

We recommend only entering business contact information that you are comfortable sharing publicly, similar to what you would print on a physical business card.

Data Retention and Deletion

You can delete your profile and associated data at any time from your account settings. Upon deletion:

  • Your public profile will be immediately removed
  • Your business contact information will no longer be accessible
  • Your account data will be permanently deleted from our systems

Login-related data (including data received from Facebook Login) is retained only as long as necessary for account management and security purposes.

Analytics and Tracking

We collect anonymous analytics about profile views and interactions to help you understand how your business card is being used. This includes:

  • Number of profile views
  • Device types and general location data
  • Links clicked on your profile

This data is aggregated and anonymized, and is used solely for platform insights. No personally identifiable information is included in analytics reports.

GDPR Compliance

For users in the European Union, you have the following rights:

  • Right to Access: View all data we store about you
  • Right to Rectification: Correct any inaccurate information
  • Right to Erasure: Request deletion of your data
  • Right to Data Portability: Export your data
